You shouldn’t need to read a wall of text to know where your notes go. Here’s how it works.
Your notes, tags, boards, tasks, drawings, reusable shapes, and theme preference are stored in localStorage. Workspace changes save after two seconds without another edit.
The app budget is 5 MB. Your browser may have less available space. Anyone using your browser profile can access this workspace.
Export downloads a backup file to your device. Keep it somewhere safe before clearing browser data, changing devices, domains, or local ports.
Import replaces your current workspace after you confirm. There’s no automatic cloud backup or cross-device sync.
Delete notes, tasks, or boards from the workspace. To remove everything, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Private browsing and clearing browser data can remove saved work. Hammad cannot retrieve it remotely, so an exported backup matters.
Your browser downloads the app files when you visit. Hosting providers may process normal request information, including your IP address and browser details.
Notes has no analytics tracker and does not upload workspace content for storage. External links and drawing embeds may contact other services when opened; those services have their own privacy practices.
